Harbour series One
Each painting isolates a fragment of environment that might otherwise go unnoticed: a wooden wall, a rusted hinge, a public sign. These settings carry evidence of age, exposure, and human touch. They speak of memory, erosion, and lived experience.

Unseen Presence
The first painting in this series captures a quiet tension between the rustic and the modern. Weathered wooden planks, streaked with mossy greens and muted browns, form a textured surface marked by age and exposure.
Against this organic backdrop, a stark white sign—CCTV in operation—introduces a sharp contrast. Its clean geometry and simplified symbol disrupt the irregular grain of the timber, while rusted hinges and bolts echo themes of time, containment, and control.
This work begins the series’ with the exploration of surveillance embedded in an everyday space, transforming an ordinary shed into a site of quiet observation and subtle unease.
